Our Vision in Action
At St Victoria Children’s Home, our vision is built around three core pillars that support vulnerable children and young people. Through safe care, education and community connection, we aim to create opportunities that help every child thrive.

Education and Life Skills
We believe education creates opportunity. Our vision is to support children and young people to develop confidence, practical life skills and the knowledge they need to build successful and independent futures.

Safe & Nurturing Care
We aim to create family-style environments where children feel safe, valued and supported. Through stability, trusted relationships and consistent care, children can build confidence, resilience and a strong sense of belonging.

Community & Belonging
Children thrive when they feel connected. Through community participation, recreation, mentoring and positive relationships, we aim to help children build meaningful connections and feel included, supported and empowered..
Our Future Residential Care Model
St Victoria Children’s Home is working towards establishing a family-style residential care model designed to provide vulnerable children and young people with stability, safety and opportunity.
We envision welcoming homes where children are supported by caring adults, encouraged to pursue education, develop life skills and build positive futures.

We believe every child deserves more than a place to stay. Every child deserves the opportunity to grow with confidence, dignity, belonging and hope.
• Safe family-style accommodation
• Trauma-informed care
• Education support
• Life skills development
• Disability inclusion
• Health and wellbeing support
• Community participation
• Positive role models and mentoring
• Transition-to-independence support
Every child deserves a safe home, trusted adults and the opportunity to build a brighter future.
At St Victoria Children’s Home, we envision a future where every child has a safe place to call home, trusted adults to support them, and opportunities to build a successful future. We believe children thrive when they experience stability, positive relationships, quality education, life skills development, and a strong sense of belonging.
Our long-term vision is to establish family-style residential care services that provide vulnerable children and young people with the support, guidance, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential
We believe every child should have the support needed to grow with confidence, dignity and hope.
Why We Exist
Every child deserves safety, stability and the opportunity to thrive. Unfortunately, many children and young people experience challenges such as neglect, family breakdown, homelessness, trauma, disability, social isolation and limited access to support.
St Victoria Children’s Home was created to help build a future where vulnerable children are surrounded by care, guidance, positive relationships and opportunities to succeed.
We believe a child’s circumstances should never determine their future.
Our Vision
Our long-term commitment is to build a sustainable, community-supported residential care model that responds to the individual needs of vulnerable children and young people while strengthening their pathways to safety, belonging and independence.
Educational Empowerment
Every aspect of our model is designed to prioritise safety, stability and opportunity, ensuring children receive consistent care, structured learning support and guidance that builds confidence and future readiness.
Life Skills Development
By integrating education, life skills, community connection and trauma-informed support, we aim to break cycles of disadvantage and create lasting outcomes that empower young people to lead independent, fulfilling lives.
Community Engagement
We believe strong communities create stronger futures, and we work to build partnerships and local support networks that enhance opportunities, inclusion and stability for every child in our care.
